Axel Loytved
born in 1982 in Bad Mergentheim, Germany. He lives and works in Hamburg
Axel Loytved graduated from HBK Braunschweig in 2010. He was member of the "Freie Klasse" (2003-2005) and band "alibi kolektif" (2005).
He was a researcher at the Jan van Eyck Academie in Maastircht from 2010 to 2011.
Since 2006 Loytved works besides his own practice with "Kunstverein St. Pauli".
Recent exhibitions include amongst others Kunstverein Hamburg, Galerie Mathias Güntner, Galerie Dorothea Schlueter / Hamburg, Kunstverein Braunschweig, Galerie Silberkuppe / Berlin, Deichtorhallen / Sammlung Falckenberg / Hamburg, Kunsthalle Wilhelmshaven, Museum Folkwang / Essen, Kunsthaus Essen, Bonnefanten Museum / Maastricht, Museum Ostwall / Dortmund, Kunstverein Wolfsburg.
