§ 1 GENERAL INFORMATION ON THE COLLECTION OF PERSONAL DATA

(1) In the following, we inform you about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, address, e-mail address and telephone number.

(3) If you contact us by e-mail, we will only use the data you provide (in particular your e-mail address, name and telephone number if applicable) for the purpose of answering your question.
If storage is no longer necessary, we will delete the data. In cases where we are legally obliged to store data, we restrict the processing to the extent necessary to fulfill these legal obligations.

§ 2 COOKIES

(1) Cookies are small text files that are sent when a website is visited and stored in the user's browser. If the corresponding website is called up again, the user's browser sends back the content of the cookies and thus enables the user to be recognized. Certain cookies are automatically deleted at the end of the browser session (so-called session cookies), others are stored in the user's browser for a specified time or permanently and then delete themselves automatically (so-called temporary or permanent cookies)

(2) Certain cookies are necessary so that we can provide our online services securely. This category includes session cookies, for example, which serve to identify or authenticate our users.

(3) We do NOT use analysis cookies on this website.

§ 3 LOG FILES

(1) Each time you use our website, your Internet browser automatically sends certain information to our web server (Profihost AG, Hanover, Germany) and we store it in log files. The following information is stored in the log files for 21 days (legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f GDPR):

Anonymized (the last two digits of the IP address are not stored) IP address of the end device accessing mathiasguentner.com

- Name of the service provider used to access the online offer
- Name of the files or information retrieved
- Date and time of the request
- Operating system and information on the Internet browser used, including installed add-ons
- http status code

(2) The log files are stored by us for 21 days exclusively for the investigation of faults and security reasons (e.g. to clarify attempted attacks) and then deleted. Log files whose further storage is required for evidence purposes are exempt from deletion until the respective incident has been finally clarified and may be passed on to investigating authorities in individual cases.

§ 4 DISCLOSURE OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

(1) As a matter of principle, we will not disclose your personal data to third parties. However, data may be transferred to third parties if we are obliged to do so by law or by an enforceable official or court order.

§ 5 EXTERNAL SERVICES

(1) We do NOT use analysis services such as Google Analytics, Matomo (formerly Piwik) or others on this website. 

(2) We do NOT use social media plugins such as Facebook or the "AddThis" button on this website.

(3) This website uses "fonts.com", a font service of Monotype GmbH, Werner-Reimers-Straße 2-4, 61352 Bad Homburg ("fonts.com"). Each time this website is accessed, files are loaded from a "fonts.com" server to display the texts in a specific font. Your IP address may be transmitted to a "fonts.com" server and stored as part of the usual weblogs. The further processing is the responsibility of "fonts.com", the corresponding conditions and setting options can be found in the data protection information(https://www.monotype.com/de/rechtshinweise/datenschutzrichtlinie/) of "font.com".

§ 6 OVERVIEW OF YOUR RIGHTS

(1) You have the following rights vis-à-vis us with regard to your personal data:

- Right of access to your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) and erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Right to object to the processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
