Jan Köchermann. Frasseks Raumsammler

The now forgotten GDR particle physicist Hubertus M. Frassek believed in the existence of unimaginably small black holes. He dreamed of traveling through southern Germany in a mobile laboratory to prove his theories. Why southern Germany? Nobody knows anymore. Decades later, Jan Köchermann (*1967) brings this dream back to life. At the invitation of the Kunstverein Göppingen, he undertook the curious expedition with Frassek's space collector that had remained unfulfilled until now. As documentation and artist's book, the publication itself becomes part of the "rolling dream along the borders of science".

Edited by Kunstverein Göppingen e.V., Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY, Galerie Mathias Günter.
